Profile

Our practice was first established in 1961 in Nicosia, Cyprus, by Nicos Savvides, Architect RIBA, under the name N.G. Savvides Architectural Office. When Nayia Savvides joined as a partner in 1988, the practice was renamed N.G. Savvides & Associates. Mr Savvides retired in 1995 and the practice continues today under the name N.G. Savvides Architects Ltd.

We offer a full range of architectural services from conception to execution for residential, commercial and industrial projects including refurbishments.
Moreover, we have many years’ experience in the preservation of historic heritage buildings, both residential as well as public buildings that have been repurposed as cultural centres, market places, museums etc., and also in designing for the rehabilitation of historic urban centres.

Nayia Savvides specialised in Exhibition Design during an internship at the Smithsonian Institution in Washington DC and subsequently participated in the design and organisation of a great number of special exhibitions as well as permanent museum displays.
